Do You Know How You Developed This Condition?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Lots of people have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia but do you know how you developed it? Did it just come out randomly, runs in the family, had an accident? Just curious.

It's a combination of trauma both physical and emotional for me I think.

Traumatic childhood, alcoholic father, emotional and verbal abuse, physically abusive first marriage. 9-11 and a gallbladder removal brought it to the forefront. I always had sensitive fibro spots, didn’t know what they were.

For me I think I had it since childhood since everything hurt all the time. But after some devastating life events and a physical accident and surgery and menopause it blew up. So for me emotional, physical and hormonal. What do you think ?🤔

I am pretty sure members of my family had it before it was labeled. I had a bad car accident that seemed to bring it on!😪
