Why Isn’t My Urine Yellow Anymore
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Sorry if this is TMI, I’ve always taken a super B-Complex supplement and it’s made my urine a bright yellow. I would know when I would forget to take it, my urine would be clear or very pale yellow. Since I got the coronavirus, my urine is clear even though I’m taking all the same supplements. At first I thought I was forgetting to take them, so I made a point to take all my supplements twice a day. My urine is still clear. I drink plenary of water, I always have. Does anyone have an idea why… read more

It could be that after having the virus that your body was in more dire need of the supplement and was absorbing and using more of it than before. If your pee is yellow after taking vitamin B or C it just means that more of it was not used or absorbed. But if it is now light, then it probably means that your body needed and absorbed all of it. I would try taking an extra dose and see what happens.

@A MyFibroTeam Member, I’d you google “men passing foamy urine” you will get several answers.

There’s no need to worry. Some supplements change the colour of urine. I’ve had the same experiences with some supplements. Yes, a light yellow is healthiest, clear means over hydration (so not what you want to strive for either) and darker yellow means not hydrated enough. The “bright yellow” is the supplement. Many healthcare professionals believe we pee most of what’s in supplements out. This is normal

If you happen to be drinking more fluids than normal, it can dilute your urine and make it absolutely clear.

I’m thinking that too. I’ve been in the hospital for 4 days and I found out I was deficient in a few things that I shouldn’t be. Magnesium and calcium. I take both those supplants and have them checked every 6 months. The virus must have really did a number on my body ........ and it still is 😟
