If any part of my body is stationary for a length of time, my joints become stiff. It is then painful to move them and often crack. My wrists and fingers are the worst for cracking. Although it is painful to move about when you have fibro, it's becomes worse if you're sedentary for a time.
I know the pain in hips and lower back is unbearable but do what you can to support yourself, be it pain meds, hip/ back brace and take high doses of magnesium. Our body uses mag at a high rate, so we can need more than what our food can supply. Another superior nutrient is spiulina, high doses that you start with small amount and build up. We need more than the average person as our system is under immense stress. I have found benefit with these treatments. I find though, that when I'm depressed, it's terribly hard to keep up with doing all that benefits me. It helps if you have someone who can help when you're in that state of mind. Enough for now. I hope this info can help.
