How Long Can A Severe Outbreak Of Symptoms Last???
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi guys!!!
How long can a severe outbreak of symptoms last?  I have been almost 3 months and every week one more symptom is added, today I can have up to 20 symptoms a day.

Many symptoms come and go. You have to try to accept the changes that are happening and not fight them. Be patient with yourself and try not to overdo things. Rest whenever you can and listen to your body. I don't think things get better but we learn how to deal with them better.

I am in the longest one of my fibo life. It is about a year now. But adding to that has been stresses from family, finance and x and y and z. I am just sorry you have to go through this. But know that people here are caring and very knowledgeable people. You are with some wonderful people. Can you list the symptoms if you have time?

It does vary the symptoms and the number of them. That is what so frustrating with it varying from person to person it takes us a while to get dx.

Soft hugs

It depends on the cause of the flare. I fell and expect it will be a couple of weeks. Sometimes food sensitivities will cause a flare which may only last 2 days. The challenge is that flares can happen without cause. I believe that we have glitchy central nervous systems. We have little control over that. Over time you figure out some of the causes. Basically every day is the luck of the draw.

Fibro can be assocaiated with lots of other disorders, & disguise some others, hoping you have has a thorough screening by immunologist. All the best. De-stress , practce as much yoga as you can tolerate & mindfulness, meditation if you can.
