I have taken Nortriptyline for a couple of years now. I find it has helped some. I take it at nighttime and my body does not hurt as bad. I do have a dry mouth day and night . I also am on Duloxetine( or Cymbalta) for fibromyalgia which is also a antidepressant so now sure which is helping the most...

I take amitriptyline as well. No side effects for me.

Nortriptyline is an antidepressant drug. Some Drs think it helps w Fibro pain. I was given something similar amitriptyline years ago and hated it! Dry mouth felt weird etc. But for some people I guess it works. Report any side effects to ur Dr or pharmacist. Take care ♥✝L

I take amitriptyline.. it takes a little long to see the benefits around 4weeks for me..but it did help with my pain and low mood.. didn't have any side effects ..perhaps coz it was a smaller dose ..
