However I decided to wean off cymbalta as have been so lethargic & my pain started to come back. Since cutting down by half I’ve started having allergic reactions on sometimes a daily basis. It’s swollen skin, itchy skin, inflammation, prickly skin etc - it can turn into a nasty attack & my tongue &… read more

💜Avoid bread, the yeast in it is full of histamine, as is spinach, fish too, unless it's very freshly caught fish, many other foods that don't spring to mind..thinking of you....💜

💜The swelling is angioedema Dc1, this can be dangerous if you get it in your tongue, you need to see your doctor, steroids are the only thing that will take the swelling down, quickly and effectively🌹....I suffer from chronic ideopathic urticaria, it causes horrendous, itchy hives all over my body, coupled with swelling of my eyelids, ( where i can hardly see) ears and lips.🌷...its caused by the body releasing histamine into the skin, why i do not know, doctors don't either⚘...I take a maintenance dose of an antihistamine called atarax🌺...you could try putting yourself on a low histamine diet, the theory being that the less histamine you put into your body the less there is to cause hives⚘....try aqueous cream with menthol, cools and soothes the skin, provides a little relief.💜.

Thanks so much just wondering what to do about the cymbalta and if that’s what has kept it at bay. I have an epipen from last attacks years ago and will go back to doctors as they decided my attacks were hormonal & I’m not now convinced that is correct !
Thanks again x
