When To Worry About Swollen Lymph Node?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Ever since I have had issues with the autoimmune junk I have had a lymph node in my neck getting swollen and hard. Sometimes the lymph node will go down but then it will get hard again and stick around for a good month or so.

I had a terrible ear infection about a month ago where my ear drum ruptured and the ENT told me that a swollen lymph node can indicate an infection (wherever the lymph node is, then the infection is somewhere higher up). That being said, I have also read that swollen… read more

Pain In Underarm
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Just wondering if anyone gets pain in their underarms.? For the last couple of weeks I have been getting pain/ache periodically in my underarm, by the joint... mostly on the left side. With all the different new pains I get throughout my body, its hard to know what is caused by fibro and what isn't. Thanks.

Can't Bare To Wear My Glasses
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone else who wears glasses find that they can't bare the feel of them behind your ears sometimes? I've had them for months, maybe over a year, they've not been adjusted recently, and yet all of a sudden yesterday and today they're pressing against something painful behind the top and middle part behind my ears. My glands under my ears and jaw are always swollen but are there any glands where the arms of your glasses sit? It's hurting so much. I'm blind as a bat without them and contacts… read more

Swollen Lymph Nodes For Months
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hello,

Has anyone experienced consistently swollen lymph nodes in the neck? I have had two on one side that refuse to go down and it's been months. Seeing an ENT tomorrow and getting anxious. Tonight I'm trying a professional lymphatic massage. I'm starting to wonder if I have CFS as well. Thanks

Has Anyone Else Had Problems With Swollen Lymph Nodes, My GP Wanted An ENT To Do A Biopsy
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've had to have one lymph node taken out in 1997, and the ones under my jaw line and back of my head/neck area swell up then go down, the ENT didn't want to do any biopsy's and of course they weren't swollen up much at the appointment and he wants me to come back if and when they start to swell he wants to make sure it's not saliva glands swelling. And what blood work should i get my GP to do

Lymph Nodes Swelling
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi does anyone find the lymph nodes swelling? My lymph nodes have swelling a lot as of the last couple months. It happens in my neck and jaw and along my groin. Also like last night the base of my skull was hurting so much. When I checked my lymph node was swollen. Now others in my neck are swollen. I was also feeling like I was burning up. Body pain also getting worse these days. The frustrating thing about this disease is not knowing if this is just fibro or something more.

Glands
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I was diagnosed with Fibro in 2008 and since then I've noticed my glands in my neck keep swelling.

I've had Glandular fever (as a teenager) so they're a bit temperamental as it is but the last year they've been even worse!!!!

Is it coincidence or could it be Fibro?!

A MyFibroTeam Member

You got it. We fight it and support each other. I know it is hard but try to remain positive. Prayers and soft hugs
