I always have the buzzing in my back and chest. Even my head and neck. Scary feeling that I really don’t like. Have had it for years now. Comes and goes. 😱

Low serotonin levels in the brain cause your nervous system to report all sorts of strange sensations, like ants under the skin, feeling your sheets are too rough because you can feel the threads, so buzzing sure why not. You did the right thing to check with your doctor. You might consider an antidepressant/antianxiety med like Cymbalta which is prescribed for fibro patients which regulates the neurotransmitters that fibro has screwed up.

Finally someone talking about the buzzing. I get the buzzing in my neck, shoulders, down my spine and my left arm and leg. I even feel it/hear it in my head. It is a fine white noise that I hear when the room is quiet. When I am really buzzing I am usually very fatigued. I think it is always there but sometimes so mild I can forget it, other times it very uncomfortable.
