Epstein–Barr Virus
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

My rheumy’s nurse called this afternoon and said l have reactivated Epstein-Barr virus. Ugh. So I’m trying to process that
I have been feeling extra run down and foggy, so I insisted she please run this test
I am still waiting for other test results from another doctor. I’m almost afraid to get them.
Don’t ever remember having mono. I’m going to try to get a actual copy of the test results so I can research it better. So I guess the Epstein Barr can be a precursor for other illnesses… read more

@A MyFibroTeam Member hi! I know you asked me a question about one of my doctors, I’ve been out of town all week but I’ll get you the information soon.

I have Epstein Bar but mine never went away and then came back. I had mono when I was 10 and the mono developed into EB. I’ve been told that it was a large factor with getting sick. It just wipes out your immune system. I’ve never heard of medication that helps (think about how mono can’t be cured by medication) and I would strongly recommend that you don’t take steroids but steroids reek havoc on your already compromised immune system. Another thing that I’ve learned over time is not to go to a doctor when I’m exhausted and only want to sleep. People with EB will always get a mono diagnosis (I was diagnosed 4 times in a short period of time, and each doctor was positive I had mono-even when I told them I had it when I was younger and you can’t get it twice.) I still struggle with managing it properly but when you can fill a page with all your diagnoses, feeling overly tired doesn’t really factor in..at least not for me. If new research Is coming out about better ways to manage it..please pass it along!

They are actually starting to connect EBV to several illnesses and cancers. Right now they are finding all sorts of connections between viruses and cancers like hpv. It’s an amazing discovery. I think Medical Medium talks about how to fight EBV. And I can’t remember all of it but I know he says celery juice is the first treatment to try.

I have found that the 24 hour Transdermal CBD oil patches help me tremendously with pain and sleep issues from my fibromyalgia. Also helps with anxiety and my energy is much better. Let me know (Email address can only be seen by the question and answer creators)

I have tested positive for EBV which they said meant "past infection." I was so damned tired I wanted to die. They refused to acknowledge that past infection was the cause. Then I came across a book by the medical medium called, "Thyroid Healing." Celebrities like Deniro and Paltrow swear by him which is laughable- but I was desperate.
He links many diseases including thyroid disorders and fibro and MS to EBV. I began the protocol he talks about in the book and after about a month I am feeling better than I have in years. I hate to be one of those people that suggests things because I know it gets old- but he has tons of followers on IG and Facebook that see meaningful results and improvements in long term conditions.
His name is anthony williams.
Medical Medium.
No soy no corn no dairy no eggs no pork no canola oil no gluten
celery juice on an empty stomach every morning and special smoothies.
It's been working for me. THought I would share. You can get the book on Amazon used.
