can these two be related,,,, bad teeth and fibromyalgia? Weird question I know.... I just read where it can effect tjm..I have fibro and really bad tmj too.

I'm a hygienist, definitely affects tmj which can cause complications with teeth. Doesn't cause cavities. Feel better

My gums really hurt during flare ups.

Hi Linda, thank you for responding to me. I do not take lyrica but I take gabapentin. Lyrica messes with one of my other prescriptions. bummer... but gabapentin is good too... those splits in your mouth must hurt. I am sorry. :(

I have some problems with this also. Do you take Lyrica? I do and I think it causes problems with eyes and teeth. I also get splits in my mouth called lichen planus. It gets sore. I was told it from low immune system. Hugs Linda 🌺
