Has anyone else ever had numbness in their tongue, lips or throat? For days now I have had tingling in my lips and tongue, on an off I will feel numbness in the area as well. Its really worrisome, especially when it happens while I am eating.
Yes I have.
That can also be a sign of a food allergy or intolerance.
I agree with foxy lady 60 especially since you mention it frequently happens after you eat. I am concerned you could be having a food allergy reaction even if you have never had one before. Food allergies can cause lips to tingle and feel numb and your mouth to feel funny or itchy and your throat to feel itchy , or even swelling. It can be very serious and even life threatening even after one episode of a mild episode. You need to try and figure out if it is something you were eating regularly when this occurred or maybe a new medication although you said it happens after eating Food allergies reactions usually occur within2 hours after ingestion. Hope you can resolve this soon!🙏🏻❤️
Yes
I. Got numbness in my mouth and lips when taking gabopentin. Had to stop the medication
I have had this experience at well. I noted when it would happen, and realized it was when I was at work and exposed to scented products. Work is the only place where I cant just leave if I am near a scent that bothers me. Hope your symptoms settle.
Hugs.
