Tongue Twitching??
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I’ve had it before, but it’s been a couple of weeks. But today my tongue twitched for about 5 minutes non-stop. I’ve twitched in my arms, legs, and abdomen but this is just weird to me. I don’t know if it has to do with my chin numbness or what. This neurologist appointment in June can’t come soon enough!

@A MyFibroTeam Member I am sorry to hear you have had dystonia too! It can be horrid. You could be right about it moving. If it is dopa responsive dystonia it can move anywhere.

It's something that goes with fibro. Twitching all over.

@A MyFibroTeam Member, what is weird about my dystonia, is it started in my 20’s. It bothered me here and there, but once I got pregnant with my last child I haven’t had a moments trouble with it. Two of three of my brothers have it but their’s is still active. Neither of ours is really bad to the point that we need medication for it. It’s more of a nuisance than anything. Hoping it stays that way.

Do you suffer from a burning tongue at all? Or does anyone? Because mine has been bothering me lately. There are no sores or anything its not painful just irritating
