I Have Strength But No Stamina In My Muscles
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have horrible upper and lower body pains (as does everyone here right?), well, I went to pt a while ago to do some water exercises, mind you I never got that far because I lost my insurance. Anyhow, when the therapist was working with me she said: "You have a lot of strength", but the way she said it was as if having the strength means I don't have an issue. Like you said, maybe you use all your strength to do something then it’s gone whereas if you could learn to use a little less strength, you may be able to last longer? It’s tough to do after doing it the other way for so long but it’s worth a shot!!

Yes I have this as well this is a symptom of Fibromyalgia it's muscle weakness I cannot pick heavy things up, drop things a lot cannot undo jars, some packaged foods as well, cannot peg washing on a high clothesline.

Leaves me weak and I am always in constant pain.

Nothing much that can be done about it, unfortunately.

Blessings Gentle Hugs 💖

Yes this is me. I found a clinic with an exercise physiologist (Raeya) specialised in fibro who does skype consultations - https://www.activehealthclinic.com.au/
