What are PRP injections? I have had so many injections for my back and they have not worked. I am going to the Rhuematologist the end of the month. Hopefully she has some answers. Thanks for answering

Pain is always worse for me on my left side.

If it’s nerve pain it should respond to the gabapentin. That said, it’s dose dependent. They start low because it gives them room to increase until you get the desired effect for you. I take it and my dose has increased over the years. I’m now at 900mg 2 times a day and 1200mg once a day. Don’t be afraid to tell your doctor that it’s not working and ask if he can increase the dose. If it’s not nerve pain, it won’t work. It will make you very sleepy at first too.
