Have You Noticed Any Fibro Pains After Eating Chinese Food Or Food With MSG?

I’ve been noticing flare ups lately after I eat Chinese or food that I suspect has MSG, invluding Pho soup. I read that there is a link to flares and MSG. Just curious if you have the same experience.

Im surprised because around here, a lot of Chinese places stopped using MSG because it is bad for pregnant women. If you look at ingredients on shelf in grocery store, the Hispanic section, there products still have it in it. I am allergic to it

Too much MSG gives me migraines with tingling and numbness in the left side of my face. I fell years ago on that side of my face and it scares the heck out of me when it happens because its very close to my eye and temple causing TMJ as well. It also does give me a hang over feeling sometimes.

MSG is an additive that makes the flavor of food more intense. Some Chinese restaurants will leave it out if you ask. Probably more difficult in buffets where it's not cooked especially for you.

Yes, msg affects me that way but I also have a food allergy to soy, so the soy sauce they use gives me the same effect. I don't eat Chinese food very often.

Me too, plus aspartame and sorbitol and other artifcial sweeteners.
