OK so you all know that im experimenting with oral cbd. I live In California and go to a physical Therapist in Irvine and pass by this giant dispensary. so i did some homework and decided i wanted to try a product produced by the company "Care by Design" (CBD get it ?) ,, because it actually tells you exactly what your getting ,, all my research led me to their 18:1 tincture. Meaning for every full dropper of the oil im getting 18mg CBD to 1mg of THC.. definatly not enough to feel the THC… read more
@A MyFibroTeam Member I use a 10 CBD to 1 THC edible oil by CBD Alive here in CA. I wrote more about it above but yeah as GiGi and others have said it’s to keep the psychoactive effects down which can disturb your sleep or make you goofy and in some paranoid depending on strain and your personal brain make up but you need some THC to relieve pain. And I still have muscle pain from time to time that includes tendinitis, cramps, inflammation, spasms, and sciatica. So I use medical marijaina to relieve these symptoms in conjunction with strengthening exercises and stretching. Also, I can’t take NSAIDs due to GERD, wouldn’t want opioids and all the other meds I’ve tried have had major side effects and little relief. You have to experiment a little with pot to see what works for you. But this has been the best one I tried so far.
UPDATE : Last night i took a whole dropper 1 full ML which gave me the 18mg CBD with 1 THC. I have to say i quite liked the effect however i think i need something with a higher THC. Im not sure why they dont make say an 18:2 or an 18:3 ratio but drop down to 8:1. In any event it made me calmer and i do believe it improves my sleep i seem to be less restless and less if any tossing and turning all night long. More to come ,, I have Physical THerapy again on Friday down by this dispensary so will purchase a different tincture,, i suppose i could mix and match my tinctures to get what i want.
It's best to have cbd with the thc, that way you won't get high, or to high.
Glad you got more relief. THC can disrupt sleep cycles my doc said so that’s why I keep that number low besides I don’t want a buzz either. I have restless leg that ramped up to Periodic Limbic Movement Disorder confirmed by a sleep test. Check out my story. New research from John Hopkins says ferritin level at 100+ Helps to relieve both RLS and PLMD. Now after iv iron infusions I’m waking up more rested and my fatigue is gone.
I use care by design 1:1 ratio! It is awesome. I take 1/2 dropper
