I fell down some stairs on my ass once and my butt hurt so bad for a week i went to E.R they said i broke my coccyx. it took years of not being able to sit, drive go on motorcycles. I sat on donuts for year. I highly recommend not having it removed unless ur doctor says ull have no pain I'm not sure if removal is better but I broke mine 1994 and I still have issues
