What Helps You Maintain Life
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

Hi Everyone,
I have lived with fibro for about 12 years, and over that time I have been my own advocate and researched as much as I can to help myself. I have found certain things that help sometimes but not always and some days nothing seems to help. Can you all share what helps you through your pain, flare-ups, memory fog and fatigue?

I've only had fibro for 6 years, but I've tried many pharmaceutical as well as natural remedies to help with the myriad symptoms. Some have helped more than others.

Currently I use medical cannabis, magnesium malate, chelated magnesium, B vitamins, heating blankets, low-impact exercise (especially being outside in nature whenever possible), herbal tea, coffee (sparingly, because it stimulates my digestive tract), and medications (cymbalta and wellbutrin).

And you are right, some days it seems like nothing really helps. I'm always searching for anything that might provide some relief on the worst days.

Magnesium seems to be the only thing which helps me when I remember to take it which is rarely.
