I dislocate reaching for things or picking up light things. My rheumatoidalogist suggested that i am not dislocating, but instead my joints are "popping"...dr fail...my chiropractor has put back in my sholder, collar bone, and hip multiple times over the last couple of years...just wondering if there is a cause other than EDS that causes dislocations? Ive been diagnosed with fibro, but i cant get a dr to test me for EDS, and was wondering if theres another cause i should be chasing.
After i posted this, i almost popped my shoulder out at work simply by putting my arm over my head to remove an old tag. It was so painful i might have said something i should not have said
I have two ribs that pop out, but I don't know if they qualify as dislocated. But it is very painful. My chiropractor usually can put the back.
Yes, since this started for me I have also had 3 dislocations. My Rheumatologist feels this is only Fibromyalgia, but I am going to try and pursue testing for EDS as well. I don't know anything else that causes the same hyper mobility and dislocations that are as widespread. Not sure where to start with that when geneticists are often not covered by insurance.
Only once I did dislocate my knee and it was painful, I popped mine back in. My knee makes a noise when moving.
I don't get dislocations a lot but boy do i get a lot of tendinitis
