Hi, does anyone take Nabumetone, Gabapenten or Duloxetine for fibromyalgia. My rheumatologist put me on the first two meds and my primary care physician put me on duloxetine. I feel that it's helped but not enough. I wonder if anyone has taken anything to feel no pain or is the pain going to be for the rest of my life. I don't like taking medication. I'd like to find something natural, even cbd oil.
I have had fibro for 30 years and never been pain free no matter what I have taken. I have been on oxycodone for about 15 years and it makes the pain subside enough that I can function most days. I also have back issues so the oxy is not just for fibro. Gabepentin did reduce my pain for many years but then I started retaining fluids in my knees so the doctor took me off of it. Good luck. Hugs
Gabapentin did not help me.
Gabapenten and Duloxetine here
if I don't take them I feel worse.
@A MyFibroTeam Member. Yes i take oxycodone, flexeril, ropinerol and ibuprofen 600 for pain but i also have severe back issues too. If you want to go the natural route, i also take turmeric, oil of oregano, garlic, L glutamine, co q 10, alpha lipoic acid and acidophylus. Most are anti inflammatories. Look them up and see which ones may help you. I get mine from puritans pride which are alot cheaper. I was pretty much homebound almost bedridden about 7 years ago until i started taking these supplements. I hope this helps.
Yes. I do take ibuprofen 600 at least once a day. I also take several anti inflamatory supplements including turmeric. Co q 10, L glutamine, garlic, alpha lipoic acid and oil of oregano ate all supplements i take for inflammation.
