Has Anyone Woken Up In The Middle Of The Night With Their Leg Burning?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I woke up in the middle of the night last night with my leg burning to the extreme, at first I thought it was a dream, unfortunately it was not. Also, while I am here my back left ribs have been hurting especially when I take deep breaths and continue to have pain in my front left ribs as well on and off. Anyone??? Thank you for the help!

Yes I have had very painful legs at night and the rib cage pain is most probably related to Costochondritis this condition is also part of fibromyalgia it hurts when I breathe at times.

Unfortunately Fibromyalgia has so many symptoms to deal with.

Gentle Hugs

Yes, my left leg has felt chaffed before...almost like road rash. Then there was 3 weeks of my scalp burning. Then it was a burning mouth (that was super fun). Now Im suffering from a muscle neck spasm (crick in the neck) and yesterday I made the mistake of getting a sports medicine massage and the masseuse contorted my arms in all sorts of weird positions to stretch me (i guess) but as she was rubbing down my arms, she really aggrevated my ulnar nerve which is already super sensitive so I felt all sorts of zinging down my arms. And the muscle spasm in my neck was almost gone but she unintentionally brought it back. Im feeling like a hot ass mess over here this last week! I keep reinjuring my left hand and cant put pressure on it either . Numbness, tingling, weird sensations, burning skin, shooting pains, squeezing sensations. You name it, I’ve experienced it in the last 10 months. Oh’ and face flushing and now night sweats during my cycle. I slept with a ice back on my face the other night bc it was burning so bad. Sometimes I just β€œpray cry” myself to sleep bc I feel like Im constantly living in a torture chamber. But I have to count my blessings. If someone has to suffer in my house, I’d rather it be me than my children so Im grateful they are healthy and well.

I don’t have leg pain going on like you but I do have the rib pain and was diagnosed with costochondritis. It can be very painful at times. The only thing I take is Ibuprofen for the inflammation but it does help some. Hoping you get some relief soon!
