Does Anyone Suffer From Vertigo?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I suffer from vertigo and it really drives me bonkers. I don't feel dizzy when i walk cos I dont get up quickly cos I can't lol, but I can just be sat down and it feels like I'm slipping away. The worst is when I go to bed, as soon as my head touches that pillow its horrible and I get it every night. I don't know if its from the fibro or the meds I'm on ir just simply I suffer from vertigo as I have had it a few times over the last 3 years before I got diagnosed with fibro. Xx

I now have mild vertigo most of the time as I have lost all hearing in the left ear and 60% in the right ear, The last 3 years have basically sucked. I lost 90 lbs because I couldn't keep food down and I had to have surgery to fix my Esophageal sphincter. Then I spent 9 months of diarrhea and found I have Colitis. They do say that we need to monitor our Sight and Hearing as the fibro affects them as well. Please get checked by an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor as he can catch anything that is going on/ Gentle hugs to everyone

I too get vertigo. I was in Pregabalin and Tramadol meds, but have just weaned myself off them as they were making me worse with the fibro fog, memory loss, vertigo, confusion and gave me rashes and very sore skin.
Although I still get all of the above, barr the skin problems, I don't get any of the other symptoms as bad anymore.
Check your meds side effects online to find out if yours are making you worse.
I take CBD Oil now instead of meds from the doc, at least that doesn't have all those horrible side effects and it seems to help the pain about as much as the meds did too. Hope you get yours sorted soon. πŸ’•

You have to lay down after taking it. I put a cloth across my eyes in a dark room. Rest for about an hour. It usually goes away. Once I was driving and I felt it come. I took half a pill. It worked right away. I was able to stay focused on the road till I got home.

I get vertigo also. I keep a pill on me always. It works. I take it as soon as I feel it coming on. It’s callef Meclizine. My friend has vertigo and she takes Dramamine.
