A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Let me know what you guys think? I would greatly appreciate as much input as possible I am going through an impossible time right now and would love answers from the experts.

My symptoms started with anxiety..started in my lower legs and after stressing out over it for the past 4 months it extends to my back and legs at times--super stressful. I have been for the most part been able to live a normal life just always in the back of my mind.

Anxiety can do some much to ones body I broke out in hives thinking it was a reaction to meds or I got into something and it turned out to be anxiety and stress

I agree with Christina, that's where my symptoms started. ANXIETY ATTACKS!

Guys, why do girls have to go through all these things??

I never thought about fibro until my anxiety and depression were connected to my back, jaw, ear and body pain. I think each contributes to the other, especially when my depression and anxiety get worse. I feel that my TMJ was from clenching my jaw and my arm pain from clenching my arms. Yoga and meditation have helped along with Lexapro.

I would not worry about fibromyalgia at this point, but would pursue my doctor for further work up.

@A MyFibroTeam Member Thank you much for all the info you have given me.

That’s exactly how my pains started. I had anxiety over leg pain and it’s just kind of never stopped and extended to my back. For the first few months I was able to put it to the side and be able to live fine (go out with friends, play basketball, etc)

I went to Florida over the weekend to hang with friends and I feel like it has gotten worse since then. I’m driving myself crazy and now I’m starting to feel a little fatigue. I truly think it is just anxiety and I’m mentally worn out but I can’t get Fibro out of my head. No other symptoms though...

What do you think?
