Looking for others who have fibro/chronic fatigue who would like to befriend each other and have coffee/tea occasionally when able and would like to find a good Fibro Dr in our area!

I find that attitude does help. I try to take the attitude that this condition we all have will not control me - slow me down - but not control me.

Hi beautiful strong and brave friends, I usually sleep 1 1/2- 2 hours a night. I was taking sleeping pills temazepam but got hooked and had to detox when my no good doctor abandoned me. But now I am able to to sleep better and added 2 hours of sleep with hot milk with honey and a pinch of cinnamon and the self hypnosis app on iTunes. Still not enough sleep but I will get there one day. ;0) stay strong and don't be afraid to try things. We are all different but we are battling the same nightmare. Love you all xxxx

@A MyFibroTeam Member, losing weight is difficult when we have fibro because the antidepressants and medication causes us to crave carbohydrates. I finally found a great lifestyle change that helped me lose weight! Go to www.SlimmingWorld.com, they have one from the UK and now it's in the USA. You get to eat pasta, potatoes, oven baked fries, rice and most all the carbs you ever would want, plus all lean meats and all the vegetables you want plus I eat huge fresh fruit salads. Check it out! I lost 46lbs in 31 weeks and it's staying off too!

My sleep always sucks. But I like to believe that my attitude kicks fybros butt everytime. Lol. Pain comes close to winning sometimes and then I kick it’s butt again. Take that fibromyalgia. Lol

Alright, whoever said attitude has anything to do with pain?LOL, I think it's 50% pain and 50% fatigue! Pain pills cover it all! At least in my body! Lol! When I have a great attitude I still feel terrible and fall asleep on my recliner! That's when my attitude is great, when I am sleeping, hahaha!
