Ive only recently developed neuropathic pain in my right leg. (I have a lot of nerve damage from a failed spinal op) Most of the pain is in my foot but it spreads when bad. Im struggling to find something to help it. Im going to speak with my doctor although I'm reluctant to just chuck more painkillers at it. Has anyone found something that works for you? Any help muchly appreciated!! X
I recently had spinal fusion of my L4, L5 and S1 joint.!prior to the surgery I tried everything possible to relieve the pain...after 10+ years of dealing with the pain I went to see a Neurosurgeon. He recommended surgery and I agreed. The surgery took 8.5 hours but it was sooo worth it as I am 5 months post op and am feeling great! No pain meds and I can walk a hAlf mile every day!
I started getting SIJ Injections and that helped alot with the pain in my feet. I used to limp out of work it was so bad and almost collapsed trying to get to my car some days. I still get the pain at times but its no where near as bad as it used to be.
Yep I had it all.....It is very scary. But Im glad because that type of pain you get from stenosis is bad. I had three cervical surgeries. My first surgery was tough I had a herniated disc at 5 and 6 pressing on my spine. Had that repaired and wouldn't you know it the next one went...6 and 7. My second surgery failed which can happen. Had to go in for the third time and have everything fixed and some Hardware removed and replaced. I'm glad I did it but everybody's different make sure you get all the information you need if you decide to do the surgery
Please explain SIJ injections...Not familiar.God bless you
