Thoughts On Medicinal Cannibis??
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I just started the ball rolling for getting my pot card. I am done with all of the drugs and the doctors guessing what is wrong. I have been tossed from doctor to doctor. My fibro is getting worse and I'm also dealing with stupid scar tissue (from back surgery) resting on a nerve on my S1. Any opinions on this??

I have arthritis is my neck and lower back. No surgeries though so I can't say anything about that. My kid heard me fuss so much, he started saying, "my neck and my back and my back and my neck". So plenty of neck and shoulder pain and needless to say my back. Doc says I have degenerative disk disease which seems like most people get as they age. I'm 61.

I understand completely, I myself use it on my worst days and I don't care what people say about cbd it doesn't work for everyone, the is a great distraction from the pain but it's still there mind you but distrating yourself from pain is a big thing that helps me, I don't condone the use of weed (even though it's the only thing that gives me relief), I have recently gave it up and I've never been in more pain in my life, trying to be more productive though so I'm staying off it for a while, next pain meds for me is morphine and I refuse to take it (my personal view) as I said though it only helps distract you from the pain, there are other ways of doing that too like making yourself happy, it's very had I know I'm in the same boat as you but a bit of will and determantion goes along way, wishing you the best of luck but do try find other ways to manage pain as the the "smoke" can be very addictive and I even found myself getting disappointed in myself and depressed on it (why I'm taking a break). My gf and family are begging me to go back on it but as I said I'm very determined to make something of my life (wasn't able to do that while on it), happy thoughts and acknowledging the pain is half the battle. From a seasoned fibro sufferer don't take my advise lightly

You should try cannibis oil. It's the nasty black tarry stuff. You start out with the size of a grain of rice under your tongue. And increase the amount over time. I am going to do the same as soon as I can. It's been known to cure a lot of things. Let me go to my YouTube channel and look up this dudes name. Either go on youtube or google Rick Simpson. Also Cannibis health radio. Educate yourself as much as you can. I ABHOR Big Pharma! All they care about is money, depopulation via sterilization...I could go on and on. On Cannibis Health Radio you just listen but the people are fascinating as to what cannibis has done for them and I believe them. I personally am going to do a high grade CBD oil with the cannibis oil. I have 7 autoimmune diseases along with 26 diseases secondary to them. Yeah...my quality of life sucks. Anyway, good luck and that's my 99cents worth..LOL

1000 times YES!! I wish it was in SC. When I was a teenager I smoked it for my anxiety and fibromyalgia pain. But I haven't smoked in years and it really sucks because I'm allergic to the medications for fibromyalgia.
