How Many Of You Know People Addicted To Pot Or Products With THC?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have had very bad experiences both personally and professionally with people that smoke pot and or products with THC so this is NOT the thread you want to sell me on it. My mother was a pot head and I have nothing to do with her and multiple other people I know are addicted
I kindly ask you not try to sell me on it and I will delete and block anybody that does-on this thread-. I have many what I consider to be friends on here but I draw the line there.

That being said

Thank you for the comment and I understand.
I have some of that salt myself. Use it in a hot bath.

I have talked to numerous doctors as well as done my research through reputable medical websites on the 'pain relief' of anything made from cannabis.
NOTHING in cannabis affects the pain receptors in your body according to ALL of them.
I'm not talking about pot heads that write blogs and such I'm talking about medical researchers not being paid by pot growers that have done objective research.

Now pot with THC does help with pain...
just like hitting your thumb with a hammer and taking off your fingernail helps with your throbbing toe.
It is a distraction, nothing more.

Anyone that uses it would get much better pain relief from being active, exercise, REAL pain medications, back massagers and such.

The point to any medication is that the results are more positive than negative.
I'm sure crack cocaine helps with pain too until you stop being high again.

God bless and thank you again for your post.

I do agree cbd oils and edibles help with pain and sleep, but no thc in it.So those who say they smoke it for pain,my question is why??? Why when you can get the oils.Ill tell you why...because you need to get high.Need to escape reality.Dreadful drug.

I would never smoke that junk. They now have capsules from it that do not make you high but help with the pain. Also creams but I choose for myself to use my Lavender Epsom Salt scrub. In the shower I get wet all over and then I smear my mix with added imitation vanilla and it makes me feel soft and takes a lot of the edge off of my pain and actually energizes me. It is natural and not expensive if you have a DollarTree store near you. It is only one dollar. :)

I do know people who are habitual users. Ever see Tommy Chong’s character on That 70s Show? To a fricken “T”.

In all honesty, I have tried it in the past, long before I had children. I belong to the group of people who become sick after ingesting marijuana. Actually, anything stronger than Tylenol 3 will make me sick. It was not worth it, for me.
