I have been having ankle pain and swelling for some time now. I didn't injure myself. Recently I had an ultrasound and it showed the fluid buildup around the tissue, tendinitis as well. I have pain and instability unless the instability is the virgo I hear so many suffer. I do a lot side step like a drunk lol.
Yes, Yes and yes. Many people with Fibro have this very painful problem. I know I do. I trip a lot because of it. Now I started to put my legs up whether on my back or sideways on three pillows and it has helped a lot with the swelling. I hope you feel better. My ankles and achilles heels still are sore but the swelling at least goes down.
Yes adema no tendonitis but yes to random spasms and pain, knots in muscles. One has to drink lots of water and Google the heck out of any issues you get to learn all things that can cause it and then make sure you are doing self care and cluing the doc in on what tests you want etc. and what home/herbal remedies you are doing. Balance issues are common with fibro so ask for a cane at least because falling is 50 times crappier for us fibros lol.
I heard someone who was taking Gabapentin for two months began walking at an angle. She stopped taking it. Are you taking this drug?
Yes I have problems with my ankles, my left one gets quite swollen right into my foot. I also have balance problems. I have a cane that I use, I have a walker that I use also
