Often extreme fatigue can be caused by Fibro, but that does not mean it’s the only thing that does. You might want to ask about getting a sleep study done to see if you’re getting enough oxygen while you sleep. At least get that potential concern ruled out. Blood tests to rule out anemia and anything your pain management team thinks of to identify the exact cause would be a good idea to follow up on. Wishing you the best of luck and sending hugs.

Don't tell them you have fibro. Once some doctors hear you have fibro they blame everything on fibro.

I would assume the pain clinic is there to help you with your pain and often time they are not prepared to deal with your other symptoms unfortunately. Most likely they can tell you that some pain medication's side effects can be exhaustion. With your terrible fatigue you need to turn to your "other" doctors - rheumatologist, gp, neurologist, endocrinologists to investigate the possible cause of your chronic fatigue. My daughter was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome after many years of research for answers. Her endocrinologist also identified secondary adrenal insufficiency "The most common symptoms are severe fatigue, loss of appetite, weight loss, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, muscle weakness, irritability, and depression." She was prescribed cortisol (steroid hormone) which often time helps with symptoms, unfortunately for her it did not help. Mononucleosis infection seems to be the culprit of her CFS. She had it many years ago and can cause life long fatigue.

I am the same way. Pain and fatigue go hand in had. For me and I can't explain why but a low does of tramadol with/Tylenol works miracles. My Dr prescribes this with a medication called Ultraset that I take upon waking in the morning so I can get out of bed. It takes about 1/2 hour to work and I feel almost normal again. Then another in late afternoon. I'll lay down for a short nap and wake up good to go for the rest of the day. . Since it it such a low does there isn't any narcotic feeling and non addictive. I can't take it late in the evening or I can't sleep.
I have used this for about 8 years but recently on my bad days I take two at a time but that is still a very low dose and since I started Lyrica there are days I don't need it at all - Good luck
