Chiropractic Treatment
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Why isn't osteopathic manipulation on this list? It makes more sense for people with FMS than chiropractic because it involves manipulation of soft tissues rather than just cracking joints.

Yes, I have a gentle chiropractor that is like osteopathic dr. No cracking manipulations. I think people just aren’t aware

When you go to a dr and he has a DO after his name but not a MD he is trained in manipulation. I asked my DO why he never uses it and he said no time for it. Most DOs don’t bother.
I thought it would be good for fibro too!!

Their title is Doctor of Osteopathy or D.O. They are a doctor so can treat the whole person, which is beneficial to someone with Fibromyalgia
