You need to go back and see these doctors who took you off these medications and give them a piece of your mind. How the f**K would they know if they don't have the illness!!! I would go and rant at them and ask for your meds back. Assholes.

There are many other things we can do to reduce pain. A psychologist can help with stress which causes pain directly, also diet and alternative therapies etc. Also looking at where in your life you can make changes that reduce your workload. Sometimes we think we have no choices, but it's just that we don't want the consequences (having to downsize, or put the kids in a local public school etc).. there is always something else we can do, we just need the help. A huge amount of pain comes directly from stress.

It makes me so mad when people say the pain meds don’t help, because believe me they do. You have to follow the directions to the key and don’t abuse them. Maybe they don’t help some people but when a doctor says it I want to say Do you walk around all day with pain and can’t sleep or have no quality of life. If they help then the quality of life is better then suffering constantly. Sorry I didn’t mean to rant on about it. But whatever works for you that’s what you should be able to do. Find an endocrinologist they help with fibro pain most of the time naturally .try not to stress i know its hard but stress will make your pain worse try extra strenth tylenol for arthritis it does help me on those bad days.good luck sending hugs
