Who In Ohio Has Filed For Disability Recently?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I am receiving unemployment benefits, however in thinking I can obtain a job, I am finding I have too many restrictions and cannot focus to keep a job if I would get one. I do not have money set aside at all to wait very long if I file. I have mortgage, car, utilities, etc. I need help to decide what to do.

I'm from Kentucky
And it took two yrs to get my social security but I had a long term disability insurance when I got fibro that I paid out of my state job and it paid me for 2 yrs cause the payments were taken out of my paycheck that helped me ! Maybe you should go back to work for a little and get some Aflac to help you thru or maybe a family member could help you til you get your disability!

Thank you to all for very good information! I will be 56 in Dec. I have a law firm ready but was unsure what to do about the unemployment. They told me i can continue that but when i get disability it has to stop. I chuckle because of hearing how long it takes the unemployment will run out way before anyway LOL!

Kline, are you in Ohio? The law firm I was going to use is called Premier Disability I believe out of Minnesota. I thought I should have in Ohio law firm however when I've called many a lot of them I felt were very mean and told me just get a job somewhere. Being a nurse I made an awful lot of money I know I'm not going to make anything now but I can adapt that. The thing is is I don't want to lose the house that I have while waiting.

Jillyn, I tried to get Medicaid insurance while I'm on unemployment and I didn't qualify my unemployment money is $50 too much I got to love it they have it so figured out it's not funny.

I love you all thank you very much for the help! Gentle hugs to allπŸ’žπŸ’•
