@A MyFibroTeam Member I looked up your med Cymbalta ,and yes it can cause swelling. So many meds do . And especially when you also have Fibro. I retained a lot of fluid in my legs one time when I was on a trip. I felt awful. It hurt too. Could barely walk at one point. Not a good way to spend your trip. Long story short, I got off the med and lost a lot of that water weight. The rest slowly came off as well. I'm so very sorry this has happened to you. Perhaps on a less dramatic scale , but still. We want our meds to work without nasty side effects. If it is your med.

I did not have this problem when I was taking Cymbalta (I had others, and stopped taking it). I am now on Savella and I gained 10 lbs. My hands and feet are huge. My wedding band does not fit anymore. Same valid for many pairs of shoes.

Yes I retain water too. My left leg swells from my knee to my ankle only. Has been doing that since I was a teen. Sometimes my feet swell so much it's hurts and hard to walk.
