Some things i feel are ok to blame on fibro but this sounds to me like you might want to get things checked out. Just to be sure. I was having some unusual symptoms that could have been fibro but instead are from 3 bulging discs and other ortho issues in my neck. I would check to be sure.

I recently went to see my Primary Dr regarding my right leg weak, leg drag, and dull Nagy ache that keeps me awake half the night. Glad I went in, she thinks it might be a Bursitis in leg. She also sent me for x-rays of hip and back. Referred me to Orthopedic whom I'm seeing this Tuesday. Hopeful I get some answers. Good Luck and have it checked out. I actually got scolded by dr because I waited so long to be seen. My answer to her was, I blame it or chalk it up to be the Fibromyalgia. I didn't want to was dr time, to be told it's a Fibro flare up. That's why I don't run to dr at every ache or pain. You learn to except it I guess. Good Luck and keep me posted.

I would get checked out, sounds like you may have a disc problem, especially since your leg gives out.

I have constant pain, especially at night with my right leg. There are times when I don't realize it and I'm dragging my leg. I'm in the same boat, I haven't called the dr because I figure it's just the fibro. My leg hurts the most starting mid groin area into the top left side of my upper thigh. I've tried sleeping with a pillow in between my knees,I've tried under knees and sleeping on back.....but NOTHING helps. Please keep me updated on this please. I figure I have a yearly physical next month and will bring it up to my primary MD to see what she thinks. Gentle HUGs to you!!!!
