Eye KEEPS Twitching!!!
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hey, for the past two weeks I have been experiencing constant eye twitching and watering and eye pain. It’s mainly my right eye. It’s jumping. Both eyelid and bottom part of my eye. I saw my optometrist and he said everything looked normal. I was diagnosed with Fibro in December. Could
This be related to Fibro? Please help! Does this happen to you guys? Do you have any recommendations? Thank you

I've had the dreaded eye and lip twitch for years and only recently found a remedy by pure chance. I ordered Karmarub liquid magnesium and put a couple of drops on my temples to ease stress, suddenly the twitch eased off. I still get it occasionally but its 10x better. might be worth a try, it is available to buy on line and a little goes a long way so not as pricey as you first think.

You said some pain right eye? I usually get those in a form of a cluster headaches. But my eye would twitch and water. The pain was deep. Mri showed these as well. They considered that fibro related. What helps those is oxygen not like regular but hi flow. Don't know if you have a oxygen bar but that would be worth trying before getting it in your house.

It happens to me sometimes too. I use gel eye drops and cool compresses - sometimes they help, sometimes they go away with time.

My eye lids have been twitching for over a month! I have been to the eye doctor and he said that this is caused by three things: stress, lack of sleep and too much caffeine. It will not hurt your eyes but it is annoying! My doctor said that it will eventually go away on its own.

I couldn’t tell you if its fibro related or not, because I’m newly diagnosed and have questioned it too, but I have eye twitches all the time. Some days are worse than others. I usually try taking Vitamin D and B’s when it does... just in case. I tend to run low on both and I know deficiencies can cause it.
