Any muscle relaxers or pain pills say not to drink alcohol. Alcohol is a depressant too so it is really not good to drink with fibro. Sorry. If you are going to drink at all, i would suggest skipping your meds while drinking. Don't get me wrong, i have drank alcohol while on meds but it is really not safe. If you are a daily drinker, talk to your doctor about it to see if there are meds that are safer while drinking alcohol. Good luck. Hugs

@A MyFibroTeam Member Alcohol bothers my fibro. I use to drink a lot but noticed while I was taking gabenatain it caused hot flashes, sleepless nites major mood swings. So I stopped the med. Went thru witdrawls. Then I stopped drinking. Then was diagnosed with fibro and started on cymbalta and lyrica and muscle relaxers and tramadol. So I did not drink alcohol for a whole year. Now off most of the medication only take tramadol when really need to and a muscle relaxer every nite. I might have have a couple of drinks socially but find that I wake up with bad hot flashes and have a sleepless night. So for me i believe the alcohol effects my fibro. And as for weed. Once in a while does make me comfortable. Don't no about the legal MJ. And have the oil and really thought it was working until the last weather front that just came thru. But everyone is different.
