Does anybody else ever sleep for as long as 24 hours or more at a time only getting up to go to the rest room?
I just slept and slept.
That makes me feel better. I thought I was dying.
I need a stretching type class because I'm so bad at doing things to help my situation at home. My thigh muscles are much tighter than any others and it causes my knee caps to pull up. I have trouble with lounges and various other positions but when I stretch it helps.

I began getting a sore neck about three weeks ago it has since become unbearable. I'm not currently on any fibro meds and am really struggling with this. The pain is now causing headaches and anxiety issues. It feels as though my neck is swollen. I have been under a ton of stress so I'm not surprised I'm flaring! It's difficult to turn my head! Has anyone else ever experienced this and what did you do to ease the symptoms?
That’s awful! Absolutely unacceptable! I’ve been there and I’m glad you are no longer in that situation anymore. Should have had him thrown in jail. 😡
In the past several months,I have been having mood swings, and very short temper.it seems like I'm quick to anger, and very intolerant of people.that's just not normal for me....is it part of having fibro?

I have been hearing people talk about a lack of oxygen to the brain being a cause of inflammation, etc. I've seen where some say hyperbaric oxygen can cure fibromyalgia. So as I looked for ways to increase oxygen to the brain (exercise is certainly one), I find where low blood pressure will decrease oxygen to the brain. Wow, I have low blood pressure. The other night it was 81/60, though it is usually 90/70. Do any of you have consistently low blood pressure? Cause maybe this is one path to… read more
I've thought about trying Hyperbaric Chamber but insurance won't cover it arghhhh

You are right when you say "I know that "fibromyalgia" is just a label that doctors give to patients that they cannot or do not want to help". What you missed is that there is a real condition of Fibromyalgia except practically no one gets it right not even doctors. I've heard said there are 200 symptoms of Fibromyalgia and sure once you have a word that names something that you can't diagnose, that word can be used as an answer for a plethora of those ailments that there are no definitive tests… read more
I am definitely willing to listen and would like you to explain how it can be cured please. I would greatly appreciate it
The other day, someone I have known since childhood asked me to explain what it was like to have fibromyalgia as she has a relative with it and would like to understand better. Once I candidly explained what it was like, the reply came back that my symptoms must be much, much worse than the people she knew with it because she can only sometimes tell that it is bothering them. My answer to her was this. Please be aware that people with fibromyalgia are so tired of having people disbelieve them… read more
Fibro is like getting hit by a Mack truck while running to the end of a 25 mile marathon, with the flu, and being 8 months pregnant. That'll give them something to think about!
I know this question got asked over a year ago, but I just want to re-flag it. Anyone else experience burning mouth pain from Fibro? Physical therapy has helped me a decent amount (by jumpstarting the nerves with a machine called an "Acuscope") but I am curious what others have done. I've had it for 7 months now and it is the worst pain I've ever felt. I don't take medications other than supplements so I know it's not a side effect. Any help would be appreciated!
@A MyFibroTeam Member the only thing that has helped me is "body scan" meditation focusing only on the mouth. it doesn't make the pain go away but it makes the area that is in pain smaller/shrinks the… read more
