Does Anyone Get A Recurring Taste Of Infection?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

It tastes and smells like I have a bad cold or sinus infection, but I have neither. It has been with me since November. Recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Just wondering if anyone else has had this symptom.

Thanks, but that doesn't appear to be the case. The taste comes and goes also. It isn't constant.

I also have that problem. I have noticed it happens after or during a flare usually in my neck area. I think the sinus are being clogged and when they drain we feel as if we have an infection. I also feel like i could have an ear infection from time to time but i also think its the from the flares. Good luck hope you feel better soon.

This may sound silly, but could you check if you have tonsil stones, or little white soft aggregates of bacterial and cellular debris in the back of your throat. They can smell and taste bad.
