Unexplained Bruises..
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had a large blue bruise on the side of my left leg last week. A few days before my legs were painful then noticed the big bruise. It's gradually faded and my leg pain decreased.

Today I have noticed another blue bruise (not as big as the previous one) on the inside of my left leg. Again I had leg pain and wasn't till I got in the shower that I noticed the bruise.

Is this because of fibro?

yes, I've noticed this for the past few years, doc says it's norm, but get checked anyway please, just to rule out anything more serious. This disease is such a pain in the arse. p.s I use Tea Tree Oil to treat the bigger bruise, stinks, but worth in 3-5 days

As I was saying to another person, even a stretch can pop me out a bruise.

Yes it's is most definitely because of the Fibro. I used to get bruises so big it was if i had been run over by a car. As with everything else they come and go in phases but not as big as when they first started

Someone else asked this question resently. At the top of the page, type in the box, bruising and it will bring up all of the answers. There was alot of people that said they have unexplained bruising. I do too. It is just another strange symptom that we will never understand. Hugs. Ps. I just figured out how to look up questions by searching a subject. It is very helpful. Hugs
