Cold And Heated Clothing.
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I feel the cold really badly and it slows me down. I said to my husband that I can't wait to get into bed with my electric blanket and I wished I had electric clothes. He told me you can get them for bikers and also gloves for typing so has anyone got any/tried this? Has it helped?. Sometimes typing is a real issue and my work have said could look into something to help but maybe electric gloves would help.

There are multiple items on the market from heated socks and gloves for fishermen and women to heated undergarments for winter sports or the military. As for typing there are projection keyboards for computers which project the keyboard on to any flat surface even padded or soft surfaces. Sorry to hear about your issues, i hope this helps.

I see my rheumatogirst for fibromyalgia repeated issues along with my RA. He has been very helpful with both.

I do yoga and low impact exercise and massage therapy, Helpsme tremendously every month . He also does trigger point injections hen needed along with PT/OT. I use heat for my pain, along with homeopathic treatments he recommended. I only take mo ic as needed along with cymbalta daily. Do special diet, exercise plan, massage. And warm bath or showers when needed!

Even In Our 'Summer' Months, I Still Feel It... I Know However, You Can Get :- 1-Heated Neck Warmer... 2-Heated Gloves... 3-Heated Hats... 4-Heated Socks... 5-Heated Blanket / Throw - To Use Whilst Sitting On Settee / Sofa... 6-Heated Jackets... 7-Heated Hot Water Bottle... (Don't Mean By 'Hot Water') - Im Not Sure About Any Other Item Of Clothing However, Im Pretty Sure, I've Just Recetly Read 'Somewhere', About Heated Tops / Lefgins Too But, I'd Have To Check?? When I Say 'Heates', I'm Not Rederring To, Just'Thermal' - I Mean, Really Heated By Using -USB Cable - Plug In To Charge & Last Up To 8 Hrs At A Time ... I Have 'All' Items Mentioned And They Have Really Helped And May Even, Help You More ... Im Also Acutely Anorexic Soooo ... Feel The 'Cold' Probably, 💯 % More Than 'Most' But ... What I Will Do, Is Find Some 'Links' For You So, You Can 'Purchase' These Items, If You 'Wish' Of Course And Hopefully, You Will 'Feel', As Warm As 'Toast' Or, At Least Warmer Than You Do Now My Friend Okay ... I Hope, This Has 'Helped', Even A 'Little' And It 'Shows', Your Definately, 'Not Alone', In 'Feeling' This Way .,, Sending Much Love And Big Gentle Hugs, Not Just Today But, Everday... Trish xx
