Sounds like it has many unpleasant side effects.
Would appreciate any feedback,
Thx,
I take baclofen as a muscle relaxer. Haven't heard of it for pain. The only side effect I get is a hungover feeling once it wears off. is not as potent as say Soma, or flexeril- so I am able to take it at work ( very infrequently)
without the drowsiness of the other two.
Yes I am trying to figure out why he prescribed it for eye pain but he claims he uses it for other patients as well.
Appreciate your feedback.
I don't have muscle spasms.
He wants to use it for atypical trig neuralgia, pain in the eye.
Baclofen is an older medication- older is nice- if there were going to be bad side effects, it is hopeful they would've shown up by now. In my nursing career, we always used it for the muscle rigidity and spasms that people with MS get. It always seemed to work pretty well.
I've been taking baclofen for muscle spasms it works very well for me I haven't noticed any significant side effects but I take tramadol for all over body pain
