@A MyFibroTeam Member @A MyFibroTeam Member - it is for this reason that I took the advice of a friend and started going to the Pain Management Center - - -all they do is manage pain. I found that at least they know what pain is. the first thing the doctor did was give me a Pain Patch to wear on my arm. It gets changed every 7th day. They also gave me Tramadol for pain when needed. Since I have the pain patch I do not need the pain pills. Thank God.

@SherryMentor-t he pain patch that I am wearing is Buprenorphine Transdermal - 10 mgs.It has helped me. I change it every 7th day. I also had the Epidural Injections in my spine which left me with no pain at all for better than two months. With the pain we experience with Fibro - I was willing to try anything. Hope this has helped you. I do not come to the Fibro page the way I did before. I dread reading all the pain these poor people are suffering. It brings back memories that I want to forget. Take care. THOUGHT FOR TODAY: With God--all things are possible. 4/26/18

@A MyFibroTeam Member I'm SO sorry I didn't see this until now! I hope you are doing well? I'm glad you are going to a pain management person. I guess mine is my spine specialist. I might have forgotten that. lol.
I am also glad you aren't taking Tramadol. I've heard some problems with it. I can't remember that either off the top of my head. Google has taken over for my notes. Good thing because I'm a hoarder. Take care of yourself. I had a few days off of some stress and taking out two dogs. I just took out the old one, who has to go every hour just about! She's 14 and in diapers now. My mom came in and said I looked better. I had no idea what else I've been doing except resting. And I made myself drink water in the morning before milk and coffee, and made myself eat good stuff instead of junk. I'm going to work on that! God bless you all!

I tried the Fentenol patch, but it fell off. Pain Mgmt. Doctor said to put a new one on. I got so sick. He took me off the patch and put me back on pain medication, Oxycodone that is extended release. It works great for most of the Fibro and arthritis pain.
