Basically my fibromyalgia has completely took an over my life and I'm no longer an extrovert
So I currently I am trying to put up a front but I still end up being in love with somebody. This somebody has had a lot of damage to them such as fibromyalgia as well, emotional distress and anxiety, Plus on top of that thyroid problems
I'm trying to get over this. So I want to know what the opinions are for someone who became disabled and acquired fibromyalgia like myself on what to do.

Of course you do. Do not let this disease define you as a person. It has not affected your heart, and everyone needs someone. If people truly love you, they will be supportive and stand by you. You have us as a support team now, so you are not alone. Keep in touch

Hey, well i know that my situation has been hard with my husband... He states that he has no issues and im the messed up one! There have been many times that I have wanted to get in my car and drive away from him because i feel like he contributes little to nothing in helping understand me...i dont know if it would be different to be in a relationship with someone that also has Heath complications... I guess when you are with or find the right person it just makes sence, weather they are sick or not...

I'm so sorry you don't have someone close to you that you can talk to. Dating for me is off the table. The way I look at it, nobody will put up with what I go through on a daily basis, and it's just not worth it anymore. It's me, myself and I for the duration. I truly hope you can find that special someone!

I havent dated in many many moons. Dont get out much to meet ppl, n at times I feel I have nothing to offer anyone else, n come with a lot of baggage (illness). I had also thought about finding someone like myself. But I am complacent on where I am in my life, n get exhausted just thinking about what it would take to have someone special in my life, not to mention the added stress n pain it could bring when u care about someone.
I think my meds help in that I have no libido, so really dont see the need for a relationship. lol.
They should have some type of dating website for ppl with chronic ilnesses.

Hola, I did not think I would ever date again, but my man just came around and more importantly STAYED. I think it's easier in a sense because that person will show their true character with us earlier on. My guy is genuine and helps me when he can. I think you can find someone who is understanding and truly loves you. Do not think that you will be alone.... You just never know. It might just happen and you didn't even have to put that much energy into it.
