I went to my ortho doctor that morning to get the results of my mri. 3 herniated and 2 buldging discs in my low back. I told them what was going on and they did not seem to care or offer any help. My primary doctor did not help either. I went to my pain doctor and she raised my oxycodone from 10 to 15 mg. It calmed down… read more

@A MyFibroTeam Member. I got the pills you told me about. I got the ones that you swallow not the dissolving ones. I talked to the pharmacist and he told me not to take the pm ones and only take them several hours after my thyroid pill. I hope they work for me. Did you find out if your husband has tried magnesium or potassium? Thanks again.
@A MyFibroTeam Member. Thanks for telling me. I will get some when i get out tomorrow. Is your husband taking magnesium or potassium? I just realized the other day that i quit taking my vitamins when this cramping started. If he starts taking them, he may not get the cramps at all. But i will get the pills for back up because i dont think i can deal with what i went thriugh again. Your husband probably sweats at work and that will make his potassium and magnesium low. Try it and let me know if he gets them still. Thanks again. Have a great night.
@A MyFibroTeam Member. he said they don't do testing on natural pills so they don't know if there are drug interactions. He told me not to take the pm because i take oxycodone and flexeril so i don'gt need the added sleep aide. He read the ingredients and said it may interact or make my thyroid medicine not work. I just can"t take them at the same time. You should have your husband take potassium and magnesium and i bet he wont get cramps anymore. They are very cheap vitamins. Let me know if he does try them. Is he on any other meds? If not dont worry about him taking the pm cramp pill. Anytime i try new supplement, I ask my pharmacist about interactions. They know more than docs about them. Have a good night. Hugs
