I was the major household wage earner, and thought there was NO way I could stop working. I worked until I was falling asleep at my desk with customers on the line....... I SHOULD have stopped working a LONG time before it got to that. After they told me to go home, I slept for 3 straight months, only getting up to shower, eat and take my meds and go back to sleep.
So, my advice to anyone working who is too sick, but working due to the income, income, income.....YOUR HEALTH IS MORE IMPORTANT! I got much sicker due to NOT stopping much sooner. I've actually heard of people with FMS getting better who almost/or immediately started resting properly getting better....
At any rate, with me, it did take the 3 times trying to get disability...2 years.... and, a lot of hard times financially; shuffling bills; you name it, but we made it! And, finally got disability with enough back pay to pay off all credit cards, etc and have a lot left over....
So, if there is ANY way you can, stop working and start getting busy getting disability (that's a full time job anyway...)

Best of luck to you in whatever you decide. I know it's hard. For me, I worked until I had no choice. I waited way to late.

God bless & (((((HUGS)))))

We barely make it. My husband is on SSDI as well, he had an Aortic Disection. At 48 Lost everything even our house, business gone. We have had to resort to a bug infested camping trailer. Horrible...It really flares me up stress. Constant. So in saying that money is slim from our government when we need help..It is a hard decision. I hope you find the answer. Best of luck...
