Hi,
I try to stay indoors on cold, wet weather.
It really gets into my bones, muscles and joints.
My wrists are very sore also.
If I have to go out, I wear layers as I tend to also have hot flushes which come out of the blue and I'm soaking with sweat one minute then freezing the next. Can be frustrating, but haven't found anything else which will help.
Take care also if walking, it's so easy to slip on wet ground /grass. X
Mine include staying warm by wearing sweat suit outfits, hoodies, gloves. If I stay warm it helps manage the pain.
Agree totally with TinaMarieLopez keep warm with whatever and how ever you can. the cold sticks to your bones and it feels like I am a skeleton without flesh :)
Layers as my thermostat is unpredictable. Have Sjogrens so feet, hands, nose, ears get painful frostbite feel and go numb. I carry handwarmer packets to slide in my socks, gloves and my tactical shemagh from Iraq from a friend. I also wear boots I bought from a soldier to support my ankles and keep feet dry. I can handle snow, ice terrifies me of falls but I use a walking staff that helps, here it rains most of the winter but thats nothing either, but, freezing wind makes my bones burn. Only help for that is get inside asap. Can't wear knit hats long because I get screaming hot, but if windy I must. sunglass against snow glare, earplugs to keep windy out. What a sight I'm sure๐
I keep my body as warm as possible. So when I go outside when it's cold I have two coats on, a scarf around my face, hood up, gloves on. Once that cold gets to my bones it's very hard to get my temp back up so I stay as warm as possible.
