Cold & Spasms
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Do you have sensitivity to cold air?
Do you get spasms?

What causes that and what can we do about it? Along with wearing a parka 24/7😀

Thank you

Willow

I think that everyone with fibromyalgia is sensitive to the cold. Cold causes constriction and hence the increase in spasms. Heat cause dialation of blood vessels and hence the relaxed sensation that our muscles feel when we step into a sauna.

I have a problem with cold. It makes me have horrible flare ups and spasms. I haven't found anything yet to help. I wear many layers of Clothes.
