Is there any other types of meds for Fybro? I have tried Lyrica and gabepenton with adverse reaction.

@BettyArbuckie - I have Tramadol too. 50 mgs. I was given the Pain Patch called Buprenorphine 10 mgs. Since I have been using the patch I DO NOT need anything for pain. The patch does the trick. I am a new person since I was prescribed the Pain Patch. I feel like my old self.

I know what you mean, it was a long time before Dr.'s would even admit the over all pain was fibro. I take Gabapentin 1200mg 3 times a day it helps me, without it I wake in the morning unable to move my shoulders or bend my elbow to wash my face. When the pain becomes unbearable I have tramadol, but I only take that mostly at night to help me sleep. Not sure this is helpful. Gentle hugs Prayers

I've had lyrica and pregabalin (can't remember which worked best sorry) but now the doc has put me on 700mg of gabapentin 4times a day. Try that for 2weeks then go back. Not working as I'm in agony now z

I couldn'ttake lyrics either and gabapenten works ok, but is natorious for weight gain [up to 20lbs easy in the abdomen and if you have a bad back and hernia problems, not a good thing......for me anyway. I use tramadol 100mg 3xday with a good muscle relaxor for myofacial pain disorder Which usually tags with fibro😢 and just use gabapenten only when I'm desperate at night. I also take narcotics 10mg for my very bad back and joints and it also givesan additive effectwith fibro meds to potentiatell a better effect.

Believe me, I've tried almosteverything out there since 2001 when diagnosedafter a bad pain procedure gone wrong and caused trauma to my spinal cord.
