Having an Independent Medical Assessment soon at the request of my insurance company. I'm terrified. This is the single most important meeting of my life thus far as the result will have an incredible impact on my future. Any advice or experiences you'd like to share would be appreciated!
Yeah I had to go through that, just be honest and try to give simple but descriptive answers. I've had 3 IME's & all 3 were in my favor.
Yes, I went through that. I focused on the mental aspects of the disease that prevent me from working - serious depression, etc. And I was very honest and open. Don't try to bullshit your way through it. Be real. It works.
