All you lovely ladies. Ever had a period last a month, while taking birth control? I am on 27 days and no sign of stopping. It is driving me crazy. Does this happen to others? And the cramps are from hell!!

I had a total hysterectomy last November due to endometriosis and chronic bleeding. I'm really I did. What a difference. I'll take early menapous because of the surgery any day.

Ladies look into endometriosis. The Obgyn specialist says the only way to know for certain is to have surgery which would be a hysterectomy. But as someone said they have hormone treatments that may help you. My specialist says yes I probably Do have endometriosis bc the hormone treatments wouldn't help otherwise. Still going through it but after getting Mirena (IUD) and a shot that I can't remember the name of it is a particular Depo that puts your body into a menopausal state. I will more than likely have the surgery anyway bc I also get painful cysts on my ovaries but the pain thankfully isn't near as bad and the cramping that went down in my legs has lightened up. Before I had ice packs all over and under my pelvis. I called it my ice diaper. There was a pain that was like nails on a chalkboard. Unrelenting and awful. Good luck to you all I hope you find some relief!

Definitely go see your OB/GYN. it may or may not be fibro related. ALWAYS be on the safe side. Don't wait. Take care of you now.

I've had a similar situation. One time, I lasted 23 days. I had to see an ob/gyn to get some tests done. It was determined my fibroids were enlarged. My dr put me on estrogen birth control pills till I start menopause.
